ZORGVERZEKERING
Have you found a treatment that suits you but are curious whether it's covered by your health insurance? Some treatments are eligible for reimbursement, such as acne treatments or electrolysis. These are treatments that are often (partially) covered.
It is advisable to check your policy conditions first so that you know exactly what you are getting into!
SEV Skin & Hair Aesthetic is affiliated with the ANBOS professional association and the Skin Register, which makes this possible.
Because our salon specializes in acne and electrolysis, it's also registered with an AGB code (General Data Management Code) that identifies the healthcare provider. This unique code registers healthcare providers in a national database. Because of this registration, there are options for reimbursement of these treatments through your health insurer. Therefore, check your policy to see what reimbursement you're eligible for!
When is compensation possible?
Skin care isn't covered by basic health insurance. So, if you're looking for coverage for the treatment of acne, scars, pigmentation (blemishes on your face), or excess hair, for example, it's recommended to take out supplementary skin care insurance. Each insurer offers different packages, so it's wise to research which one best suits your situation.
Not sure which treatments you want or whether they're eligible for reimbursement? We can advise you on that too!
Our treatments for acne, spots (pigmentation), scars and facial hair removal may be eligible for reimbursement.
If you would like more information about this, please contact us.
The Skin Register
Beauty specialists registered in the SKIN register meet transparent quality standards. To register, beauty specialists must present a recognized diploma and demonstrate sufficient work experience in their field. They must also prove every three years that they have completed sufficient continuing education and training, have acquired sufficient practical experience, and that they are aware of professional ethics and safety. The Skin register is recognized by your health insurance, and you may be eligible for (partial) reimbursement for treatments such as acne and facial hair removal. (Always check your health insurance for this.)
In short: SKIN checks whether registered beauticians are practicing their profession correctly!
